Go-peds - advice needed
« on: April 25, 2012, 09:22:14 pm »
I am thinking of purchasing my son one of these - he is soon to be 8yrs old.  Any advice would be appreciated:

- is he old enough to be safe on one of these?
- what model would you recommend?
- are they problematic or easy to maintain?

Thanks

Where abouts would he be riding it?? If I'm right in thinking this is a scooter with an engine or motor of some description then they are technically classed as a motor vehicle which then would need to be insured etc etc.

There was a thing about it on the news a few years ago and as alot of kids were getting them and the police started confiscating them as they are only legal on private land not the road or pavements.
