I dont think there is a huge difference in most of the running costs of these cars... what I would say is if you can afford it... DO IT!

Get an S6 then. Much cheaper to buy and still 450 ponies after a remap...

E60 M5 is a great car (old man had one for 3 years) but let down by a horrific gearbox.. Although they are weapons power wise, the power isn't very usable due to high gearing and it's high revving nature. You can only enjoy the power legally in 2 gears before becoming on the wrong side of the law and there is another 5 gears left..

Did someone mention S/C'd E9X M3's....

Completely agree about Simpsons, my race car lives there and they are great guys, very good at setup and engineering generally. Pretty sure they did an e92 at 640bhp.

What car yr got left at Simpsons mate??they have quite a few cars in there large garage..

Yes a Twin Turbo Stage 2 R32 will be quick (and sound good doing it) but there would also be a £5 - 6k price difference compared to stage 2 ED30

New MoTeC ECU on the way, manual box going in and new loom and it'll be ready to go again  :happy2:
