Samsung Galaxy S3 - Best Android option?
« on: April 25, 2012, 08:05:48 pm »
I'm eligible now for a new contract and hear that the Galaxy S3 is due out on the 3rd May. Anyone know any more details on it?

I've heard:-

Quad core 1.5Ghz
2 gig of ram
32gig internal memory
4.0 android "ice-cream sandwich"

Apart from that I don't know much more.

I was going to go for a HTC One X, but I'm now unsure as the Galaxy S2 seemed to be a great phone, so the S3 should be a game changer?

Any other reasonable ANDROID phone options coming up?

The only thing putting me off the HTC is the allegedly poor battery life between charges. How do you find yours?

I have the S2 (had 3GS before it) and it's a brilliant phone :happy2: The only thing is the recent Ice cream sandwich update seems to have slowed it down and makes things crash (although that could be the app developers fault for not updating properly).

I guess the S3 should handle it great :happy2:

I don't find the battery that bad. Just stick it on charge at night time and it handles all my web browsing through the day.
