I had decided not to get one as I love the way it sounds standard, but it does sound nice! :D

Hmm, I'll have to give it more thought!

You could always do the flapper mod.  :happy2:

Where did you get the bids for the quad lights from? Can you do a walkthrough on how to do it??  :signLOL:

I had all the wire and sheathing already. I bought the bulb holders from eBay. I'll try and through a quick guide together this week! :D

Ive just fitted these:

As you can see I've removed the silver parts with the writing on. I didn't want the silver parts on and I was hoping the paddles would be solid underneath, but there not. I'm now going to source some thin real carbon sheet and cut out the shapes and re-fit them.

Won't have a proper test with them until later as I'm going to let the adhesive set properly!

As everyone will be aware, I had my car stolen on the 30th July. It was recovered about 2 weeks later looking slightly worse for ware !!

It was taken to the repair garage about 4 weeks ago for the assessor to decide its fate. They decided it was worth saving so got about repairing it !! yay
I got sent these pics on friday to show me how the car curently stands:

Strip down:

Rebuild:

Ready for the spray booth:

As you can see they have done quite alot to the car up to now, and its just waiting for its turn in the spray booth.
It will be having a complete respray so will come out looking mint !! I cant wait to get it back now !! Just over a week to go !!

Although when i do get it back, ill need to spend £460 on tax, and about £400-500 getting the engine, dsg and haldex serviced !!

I might then treat myself to an RNS-510 if i can find one at the right price !!

I will update with lots of pics once i get it back !! Oh how ive missed that V6 growl !!

Yeah i deserve a treat after everything ive been through !!

They have done a hell of a lot of work !! One of the main reasons i wanted pictures was to see how much/how in depth they were doing. As you can see they have totally taken the car to bits to get it back to how it was!! Im also glad they took the dash out to remove all the broken glass as it would have annoyed me if there were bits rattling about!!

I just hope the finished article looks the part !! Fingers crossed !!
