Wow, looks like a very thorough repair. The photos of the damage to the car are disgusting, really awful what some people are like. So glad to hear you'll be getting it back soon!

....Just what they did to the bonnet makes me want to bang their heads against a scrap steel bonnet until it dents! Retribution!

I'm over the moon with the progress that has been made! With it being such an in depth repair I'm feeling quite good about getting the car back! It's been almost 2 months since I last drove it, and I'd oh had it 3 months before that! I celebratory road trip is deffinately on the cards! :D

And Robin, I've gone through all that already mate! I was so angry at first, but now I jut feel sorry for the little f*ckers! I know I'm getting my car back and the fact they will never be able to have one cheers me up slightly!

....You're right. It's always best to think positive and move on. Your future with this car means that they haven't won, but unexpectedly with such an extensive rebuild you may have gained!

Enjoy!  :drinking:

I spoke to the garage and they confirmed that i should have the car delivered back to me next wednesday! :D im sooooo excited to see it!

I've also booked the car in to have a full engine service, DSG service and haldex service next Friday! I also had to sorn the car today as its tax ran out at the end of August and I had a last reminder letter today! Whoops! I'll be getting the tax next mon/tues ready for its return home!

Im also going to sort out my private plate tomorrow and get it transferred over ready for next week! I just need to order some plates now.

Anyone know a decent site for getting German style plates made up? I'd prefer legal ones but I don't mind risking it not! :D naughty I know! :P
