Southern Shandy drinkers M40ish convoy to the Superchips RR day.

As the Northeners have their own convoy thread I thought us Southerners should have one too. :smiley:

I guess the logical meet point for most of us is Chieveley Services on the M4/A34.

Not sure how far the services is from SC but I need to be there for 8am!  :wink: Im sure Andy (Wigit) will be along to confirm.  :happy2:

It says southampton to SC in 2 hours 5 mins. 99 miles.

So 7am at chievely seems a close ETA to 8am at SC :happy2:

Google maps say an hour or so. Be warned there are speedbumps in Bicester if I remember correctly.

It's quicker to go M40 for one junction > A43 > A421 and miss out Bicester all together.

thats the easiest route, chievely is to far south for me but a few rocs were going to meet at peartree services in Oxford (A34/A44 junction which sells cheap VPower :happy2:)

other plan was to meet at m40 junction 10 cherwell valley in the lorry park and head up there, robin will know why i suggest lorry park as A43 is not to bad a road  :happy2:

not posted any times as not sure what time we are kicking off

It's going to take forever if we keep stopping on the way. I might just go my own way via A303 and meet you all there at SC.

I agree. I think we will probably leave Chieveley around 07:15 and if we meet others on the way then fair enough.
If people want calling then PM me a mobile number and I will call as we approach your junction/meeting place.
