Few Questions - Plugs, LED's, Badges

Hi guys. Got a few questions if anyone can shed some light on. Im wanting to put in LED rear number plate lights on my gti...Now before I get crucified for not using the 'search' function I have done a bit of looking and the previous suggestions of the HIDS Direct link isnt live anymore (http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/xtec-c5w-led-error-free-number-plate-bulbs-audi-bmw-mercedes-p-423.html). Does anybody have any other sources etc that work fine with no error codes??

Secondly, I'm wanting black painted (matte) badges for the rear and front. Again, any sources? I currently have the bold-sport.com link but the company are outwith the UK and would rather something closer to home for peace of mind. What kind of modification is required to fit aswell?

Finally, the car is stage 1 APR mapped and was wondering about upgrading the plugs as I have seen a few threads talking specifically about that but some say no need unless stage 2 or above and others say to upgrade but not with certain ones due to the temp they work at etc causing issues.

Apologies if all this is old news but not been on the forum in an age and looking for some info on the aboe  Thanks in advance

You can get original Vw LEDs number plate lights from VW
They are expensive tho. That's what I fitted in my ed30

Easy to fit, remove grill and seperate the chrome badge from the backing and clip new one in place, really easy. Even i managed it

how expensive are we talking for a set of genuine vw number plate led's? i'm assuming thered be no dodgy can-bus issues?

No issues with warning lights, I've had mine for a few months now with no problems
They are also fitted from factory to the new passat CCs
