To break or to sell?
« on: April 30, 2012, 07:00:39 pm »
I've got a MK4 1.8T GTI. Now, I've had the car for the past 4 or so years, so I do know it quite well. Anything it has needed has been done. It's been well cared for and runs great. Thing is, it has 185000 miles. Now, the bodywork isn't as new, but it is good. The interior is great.

I know the GTIs aren't fetching much at the minute, and with that mileage I'm not hoping for much. But should I try and sell this whole or should I just break it? It's such a shame to break a great little car but I feel to gain the most I may have to.

What do you guys think?

Why not stripe most of it out and turn it into a track toy you could sell majority of the electrics as you wouldn't need them and then enjoy driving the remainder of the car without worrying about what happens to it
