My mot says it runs out on the 3rd , tomorrow . But can I still drive it tomorrow ?

Police don't give a $%^£ about the mot, not where I'm from anyway (Northern Ireland).

Yes you can, if your MOT has run out you can still drive to a test station that it is booked in to :happy2:

I think your allowed to drive until midnight on the day of the expiry but after that you can only drive to an MOT station iirc

ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) equipment which many Police cars carry, might show if your car is MOT valid or not. Insurance status most definitely will show up.

Cheers nodz . It's booked in for Saturday morning , I have two cars a old little corsa for work so not in a rush to mot it . Thought it was midnight on the date of it running out .

Yes, you can drive untill midnight on date of expiry, and will deffo show up on anpr. Not worth risking. You can drive to test station on day of test. :happy2:

Will not be driving after it runs out just wanted to know when a mot expires
