Meh. To be fair I'd choose a London club over a Manchester club. People are bemused that he hasn't chosen United or City but who knows who else Chelsea are targeting this summer. He could have been given some pretty exciting reassurances.
Chelski = Big wages and assurances of playing regularly in an ageing team which will get rebuilt buy the 10th manager.
City = Big wages and be a bit part player in team full of Ego's
Arsenal/Tottenham - Can't afford his wages/demands
United = Would be nice to have to him to replace Scholes, but if he is only in it for the money, meh, we need a motivated player, not a wages slag
His quote of "I am joining a champions league winner in the premiership" still leaves it 50/50 for United or Chelski (Actually its 66.6/33.3
)
