Yes, Spain played extremely well. It just shows how unpredictable the sport of football is.

Spain winning was never really in doubt they knew they could beat most teams in second gear. It just goes to show when they turn it on :notworthy:

Mike you can put that 8 quid towards your new Turbo, every little helps

Shame Spain won, was hoping someone would knock the smarmy little Dwarfs "inch high private eyes" off their perch, shame for Italy 2-0 just getting back into the game and then they lose a man with hamstring and spain push on to get "Another record"  :indifferent:

I love it the way people ^ get so personal when a team wins. Spain easily deserved it. Outplayed Italy in every sense. Sublime passing, fantastic opportunity making.

And to boot i won £30 in the sweepstakes at work!  :happy2:

I don't dislike spain when they win, I just dislike them ALL THE TIME!  :happy2:

Believe it or not possession was almost 50/50, the little men just used it better, think Italy might have had a chance if it were not for the injury as they were looking better early on second half.

We can't have been watching the same game, never to worry though, ETTO.

Was not bothered who won so went with Spain to win and they won that in 2nd gear. Italy seemed chuffed to have made the final so not too bad for them really. Knowing Italian football players these days I imagine they all made a few quid from the result!

It's a privilege to watch the Spanish players in their Leauge and for their country. We may never see their like again!!

I have to say that as someone who isn't a footie fan per say, I always enjoy any team or anyone who is great at their sport. It's why I tend to support Brazil mostly. Spain were undoubtedly excellent and deserved to win.

I probably won't watch another footie match until a cup final.

Spain were on another level to Italy.

It seemed to me that all Spain were doing was to let Italy do a hell of a lot of running round. Then they took advantage of the tired legs.

Chielini was crap.....as was de Rossi.

Pierlo as usual did most of the work  :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Crazy Balotelli  :stupid: is amazing but just didn't receive the ball like in the Germany game.

Motta going off was the last straw.

End of the day, Spain has some formidable players, and they played like the Best team in the world.  :congrats:

Bring on the Premier League. To be honest I totally lost interest in the championship.

Enjoyed the games that I managed to see, apart from our miserable, pathetic team of course.

Spurs supporter myself so am a bit apprehensive about this season ahead. Really, really, REALLY don't want AVB as our manager, but if we win the Leauge I will stand corrected (I wish)!!!

....Correction: The next match I watch (if it's on 'normal' telly) might be the Italy vs England 'friendly'.

What on earth is a 'friendly' match? - One which isn't 'unfriendly' and involves much fouling?
