Portugal easily won and Ronaldo was on form and could have scored 3 more than the 2 he did :notworthy:

I watched the England vs Holland women's match earlier - I really enjoyed it.

If we can beat Ukraine (mmmm?) we will come 2nd and probably face germany or spain and get knocked out in 1/4's, we need to top the group to have any chance of reaching the semi's

Spain weren't that good last night & Croatia could have won it.

I think England have a chance. See how Rooney changes us tonight?

Milner really is out of his depth here, the guy has no pace what so ever, he needs to come off. Young has been poor aswell and was in the last game. Get the two Arsenal boys on!

Ukraine have played well but i doubt they will be able to maintain this for a full 90.

GOD.... Are we really this bad.... Apart from once when they passed about 20 times (10 in there own half)  which resulted in young crossing to the keeper ... I keep counting to about 5 passes  then give it away  :scared:    I know we're no Spain but Christ if we play prem style pushing footy.   We. CAN beat these ..... We can't be any worse ...     :congrats:

Who needs goal-line technology when you've got the assistant referees standing by the goal?  :happy2:

I thought Young played a good defensive game.

On the whole it was a frustrating game though. Bring on Italy.

Ok we are no Spain but we are well organised and the ball that crossed the line the guy was offside in the build up and there other good chance was miles offside, lino needed to wake up me thinks :stupid:

Agree young hasnt been good enough going forward and milner is useless other than that we are ok, just ok.

Italy next :popcornsoda:

Hi - bit better as you say at times in the second half.  We can only improve!  Need all our forwards to start looking more dangerous and threatening.

We just need Hart and Lescott to wind up their mate Balotelli and we'll soon be playing against 10 men..
