Hi All,
Havnt been on here in a while but still running my ED30. Need to do the pads on the rear simples task you may think
Unfortunately the driver side wheel isnt coming off. Ive tried everything that normally works including kicking, heating, boiling water, WD40, driving around with loose bolts etc etc.
There is some movement against the disk but the hubcentric part is seized solid. I locally garage have also had a go, wooden block/big hammer and prying but still not shifting.
The wheel centre bore where machined to fit and I think one is obviously too tight. Others come off fine.
Options how:
1) destroy the wheel
2) Attack the hub, without hopefully knackering the wheel. Obviously cant take the hub off with the wheel/caliper in place.
Hub is prob the cheaper option but there is the chance I still coundnt the wheel off and Ill be left with an un- drivable car.
Pic of the hub. Am I right in thinking behind the dust cover is the hub nut. Any pics or knowledge of with the cover removed will there be enough room to chisel off the lip that supports the wheel?
of this advice welcome
