Cheap light wheels and wobbly bolts...help!!!
« on: May 03, 2012, 10:54:30 pm »
Right I've been hunting down some cheap light 18x8" rimms for track days. I've had a look in the car parts for sale here and can't find much and have been trawling ebay for about a week with not a lot of luck.

Suggestions on where else to look please, I only need the rimms as I've got tyres lined up. I'm not really bother about the condition of them, just as long as they're not cracked or bent

An alternative is to go to 17", will this make much diff' to handling etc? And I've found a bit with the wrong PCD, say 110. Will wobbly bolts be ok for track use? I recall reading a while back a fella saying he'd used wobbly bolts at the 'ring with no issues at all, anyone else got any experience of them?

any help is much appreciated

I ran wobblers on 114 jap fitment for my track wheels. Ensure you get pukka TUV approved ones and the spigot rings/centre bore must be spot on too  :happy2:
Sideways yo!
