Dropped mine of at one couple of weeks ago and they use they spray wax and it turned all my plastics spotty white! And they put something on the alloys that turned the bolt caps white! Also they lost the Vw sign of my key ahah

So no I wast impressed at all!

The good news is that is can be sorted out quite easily mate. But i would still go back to the wash place and show them what they have done, and tell them how pissed off you are.  :fighting: :fighting: :fighting:

Absolute tossers! Feel for you mate. Mine looked like that a while ago, almost wants to make you give up with trying to keep it looking minty fresh!!
Local VW Stealers are forever washing brand new cars on their forecourt with bucket and sponge when I go there.
Only problem, if you go back now they will probably plead ignorance and say it was not them.

Full sympathy, i have just collected the g/f Leon from Seat having had 4 wheel laser done. 'Sorry Sir, we have had to replace the front number plate, as we broke it washing your car!' Some wash the wheels are filthy and they have missed half the car!

 It is always better to have a dirty car than give it a quick wash yourself or worse allow the 5min swirlamatics loose on your pride and joy.

Ive seen them plenty of times drop the wash mitt or shammy and put it straight back onto the car!

U know what they use to wash the car with....the cheapest washing up liquid in the supermarket...I know cause I seen them buy it...that's why I don't let anyone touch my car,only I,myself & me

It was looking mint 5 mins before they touched it :sad1: Well atleast it was under about 2k miles worth of muck.

Anyway have now sourced a DA for the weekend so fingers crossed it's not as bad as I originally thought :innocent:

I hope it will be back to its former glory soon!

The problem with them is that they are stupid, I have had them ask me if I wanted my car cleaned only 2 days after I spent a whole day washing, polishing and waxing. I just asked him if he was joking!
