cruise control wire advice
« on: May 05, 2012, 07:36:48 pm »
Well today i spent some time doing bits and bobs and decided to give the cruise control a crack. got everything done and had all the coding out ready.. when it came to the cable i think i ballesed it up.. the cable end going into the ecu connector was loose and ouldnt stay in.. anyway the bit ended up breaking off so i now need to order a new one whichillbe a kick in the nuts because a very kind forum member sent me one for free.. am i right in thinking i needed.to put the female connecter into the slot on the blue socket pinthen connect the socket back in place??.. Vebecause i think i did a very novice mistake and actually tried to put the connector directly into the section the bkue socket connects too.. its really irritated me as id done everything right and in really good time including the windscreen wipers which are a pain in the ass when theyve ceased!!

Anyone got a free wire hanging around?? :inocent:
