Pretty sure they started making them for Audi RS4/6 which were fitted with the valve opening "Sport" button (On the dash), Milltek followed Audi's system and increased the flow rates over std exhaust (Sounds much better, youtube is your friend!)  :happy2:

They also now have a few vehicles with can bus based interfaces and electrically control the valves, like TC said high end Mercs (C63, CLS63 AMG etc) and now Audis like the S4, S5 and next will be the RS6 V10.

I had my BCS Powervalve Sport R32 style TBE fitted on Friday and to say I'm ecstatic is an understatement.

It is exactly what I was looking for. It looks amazing and its quiet (slightly above stock) when pootling along (off boost) but absolutely brilliant when you hit the (now literally) ‘loud’ pedal :jumpmove:

I think it’s about time I got my members ride thread going as there are a few major mods done now :happy2:

Yes the centre silencer would need swapping out and then the valve plumbing in...

Was the original article about the sports cat version or the de-catted on?

If one was to go for a de-catted version, can the cat just be slotted in?

I had the 200 cell race cat fitted, great sounding system, but sold it when car went back to std when I put it up for sale in January, exhaust sold next day (Car Sold in 8 days)

Coos stuff thanks. Been talking to nige and probably gunna get the same one as you as apparently there is no difference in output.
