spring fitting

How much would i be looking at to have springs fitted? and just springs from a v.food reputable garage

i was quoted £150 when i got mine but i did it myself in the end. its not very hard and there are a load of how too's floating around  :smiley:

did you not get tracking ect done afterwards?

yeh i also changed my steering wheel and put on some new 19" wheels at the same time to make sure everything was straight and true :D

How long did it.take you? I looked at on thread and have all the tools but no one to help/experienced in doing it ill have a good long think and haggle with the mechanic

um a few hours and some elbow grease haha had dad helping he's got experience in vehicles which helped

Is it a good idea to have the springs fitted then wheel alignment done straight after, or should you wait for a couple of weeks or so for the springs to settle in and then have the alignment done?

i was told to take the car for a drive for roughly half an hour to let them settle after that it should be fine and they've been fine since, no tracking issues  :smiley:
