I'm already on it, my solicitors are on the case. I'm now in the possession of the CCTV camera footage from the car-park, shows the incident so I'm a bit happier that he can't come back and blame me

Thats awesome, you will need all the evidence you can get. You should be fine with all that you have done and a nice cheque will be coming through you letter box in no time. I had an RTA a few years ago.... a women t-boned me at 45 mph while she was high on drink and drugs! Her insurance company still protested for months that it was my fault  Needless to say the case is still ongoing, it will be 2 years this christmas since it happened and I have still had nothing whatsoever for the massive inconvenience it caused!
