Go Stage 2+ and turn the caps lock off, you do know caps are used to imply shouting.  :rolleye:

Don't you have any handling mods such as brakes and suspension yet?

I would stop at the Stage you are and sort out the handling (brakes, suspension, etc, even a diff) so that you have a well balanced driveable car. If you find you still want more power then up it later. Just because there are lots of folks on here who max out their power doesn't mean it's the wise thing to do. Always leave headroom tolerance and concentrate on what she FEELS like to drive on ALL types of roads. That's my advice.

Depends on what you're after. All round drivability is far more important than pure power (as RR states), and driver skill is far more important than that.

Any reason why you can't just leave it at Stage 2?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Defo need to consider brakes and suspension. You still need to handle and stop especially when adding power. I agree not to overdo it and keep within your limits before you hit problems. Maybe some handling as well as some stylish new trim and buckets etc could be a overall better car which you would be more happy with

Go stage 2+ , if you've got all the bits why not ! My car was stage 2+ on eibach springs and nothing else , standard brakes etc .. Was fine for normal driving , looked good and was fast when needed ...  :happy2:
