best place to get my MOT done in yorkshire?!
« on: May 07, 2012, 10:40:48 am »
Are there any good places you guys take your cars to get the MOT done? My mk5 gti is stage 2+ with turbo back exhaust system.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated :)

.
It's as Rich says.

If your turbo back exhaust and remap are by reputable installers and manufacturers it won't matter. They are designed to pass MOT.

You could always take it to VW!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

My mk4 anni and the ED30 have always gone to dealers, White rose VW at crosshills , Ben on service desk is always happy to try price match most indy's or local garages. Happy to service and look after a modded car. I took the girlfriends Leon over to be looked at, regarding tracking, laser alignment, after a few minutes i was told, they cant access the required settings to be 100%, so i should go to SEAT with it.

....I've only ever had my car MOT'd by my VW dealer and have passed every time so far. 7th MOT this summer.
