Remove rear boot panel?

My rear wiper washer jet has stopped working and leaking water into the boot.

Tried to remove the rear plastic panel but struggling to do it.
Anyone know how to remove it? or is there a how to guide?

There is a screw in each grab handle you need to remove. There are clips in various places around the edge as well that you need to pull quite hard at to get them free. I find it easiest to get one of the corners free then work my way round

Its a pain in the 'arris for sure. Just watch you dont put any stress marks in the plastic. Is fairly flexible to a point and then you'll notice white creases appearing. Try and use a long thin plastic spatular rather than a screw driver to leaver the plastic off. What I found really useful was a plastic pallete knife kit from either The Range or Hobby Craft, great for interior as well, will keep scratches to a minimum

It's as awkward to refit as it is to remove! First time I didn't quite get it lined up with the rest of the trim round the rear window so had to go through the whole process of removing it again!

I've got a set of trim removal tools that I got off eBay that I use to prise it free.

Use a trim tool, can be bought from fleebay (set of 4) for no more than £5. Great for removing all sorts of trim bits, helps to protect the plastic without putting too much pressure/stress on one particular point.

lol all this trim tool,

just yank it out but obviously remove the 2 screws behind the grab handles. If thats to hard for you just start from a corner and get a long flat head to help prise it out.

A good pull is all it needs.

take out the two screws from the grab handles...

and put one handle on the metal of your boot lid...one hand one inside the grab handle and a sharp yank...you'll hear a disgusting 'crack'...thats the metal clips pulling out of their holding sockets...

repeat on the side and follow around....
