Ed30 or R32

Currently looking to buy either the ed30 or r32.  :driver:
But the car will be used daily. Weekdays travel to work and back roughly 12miles a day.  :jumpmove:
Obviously the r32 would be more thirsty but wouldnt be much of a difference would there? :mad:
Can you guys share your opinons?

R32 sounds better, more wet traction, ED30 more fun to drive, more tunable, economical blah blah blah, etc etc.
