Green gunk in Window Sills

In the door where the windows go down is an area of "green gunk".  Any one have a method of getting rid and staying rid?  Many thanks in advance.

Its pollen from the tree's and plants, as mentioned softish brush and some all purpose cleaner.

I had this as well. Used a baby bottle teat brush perfect result. Job done and there about 50p
