335 is a nice car, but if I were you I'd keep the ED30 :happy2:

Why do you say that? I like the ed30 but the draw of a realistic 400bhp is tempting

Funny enough im looking for a mk5 gti after thinking of selling my e39 m5 and this weekend found a few gtis for around 8.5k and then thought for another 2k there were a few 335i coupes for sale??  It really is making my decision to get a mk5 more and more difficult.

If i had a stage 2 Ed30 i would be very happy with the performance so would only buy a bmw based on the fact its RWD and a different car to drive altogether.   I think the 335i is a great allrounder, very quick as standard and quite easily 370bhp with a remap and also 35mpg!  Its an easy car to live with also. :happy2:

Oh and also have in mind the bmw seats will be no way as comfy as your Golfs
