4yr service today

Hi , The ED30 had its 4 yr service today ,major service , cam belt and water pump, they replaced the centre caps on the wheels , washed and hoovered ,collected and returned with a new MOT , quoted £719 plus centre caps at around £25 .They called and invoiced me £704  happy days .

The service Guy called and said they were admiring it last night on the ramp how clean it was  etc  nice to hear ,

It is always pleasant when a mechanic praises your car - I suppose the vast majority of cars are merely a tool for people so they aren't exactly lavished with care. In fairness if I owned a Ssangyong I wouldn't want to spend much time looking after it.

It's true that the GTI, however imperfect, really does have some sort of 'soul' and this makes me want to look after it.
