Steering control p/n help

Hi,

Anyone know if these newer mk6 steering control modules and mfsw airbag harness are backwards compatible?

1K0953549CH / 5K0971584A ( C )

Can I just use these for upgrading from non mfsw to normal mk5 mfsw?
