I got the smoked indicators from Awesome GTI

I'm not sure which is the old badge and which is the new badge this is the badge where it's in 2 stages say the vw logo is raised not smoothed.

i love the rear lights... did you just take the filters out or are they a different set?

My mate painted them with red tint spray then laquered them while he was painting my bumpers. :happy2:

Sorry I have wanted to do this for ages.... can you elaborate, did he take the lights apart and spray from the inside or did he spray from the outside??

....

This is weird! I normally detest (yes, really detest!) VeeDubs which have been debadged, slammed down so low, rims off other car brands, upholstered in shocking colours.....BUT!!!

Having just seen these pics posted across the pond I really think it's elegant in the extreme. I've never doubted your high standard of workmanship but just never liked this kind of project.

It's the fact that the colour scheme of black setting off the 'fuschia' interior and that the alloys aren't blingy shiny and that the whole is kinda restrained - That's what I love about it. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

But please don't spoil it by doing too much!

Cheers mate, i'm glad you appreciate the car, even though i've not had the car long i have put months of planning colour schemes together i wanted to try and live on the edge getting peoples attention but not for the wrong reasons, it seems to be working so far.

I won't be doing alot more really trimming a few more parts inside brake upgrade finishing ff my audio/rear quarters and end of the year maybe a blow over same colour just to get rid of the few stone chips scuffs it has from the previous owner.
