Just joined this site (I have an Audi not a mk5) but just wanted to say that this car is awesome! Saw some pics on a friends Facebook and then found this build thread.

Love the seats etc.. and the new colour is awesome!

What happened to the plans with the BBS?

Cheers dude appreciate it.

The bbs got sold after i just couldn't lay the car out with the offset etc we tried everything and i didn't want to go down the custom arch route.

I did want to keep them but a freind turned up at mine just at the right time ( i was spitting my dummy out lmao)  and said he'd buy them so i just said yeh.We literally did everything to try and get them under the arches and still lay the subframe on the floor.

I'm happier with the new wheels now though mate although that took some working out and mesuring up to get them to sit right.

Oh god! Could be the end of me lol

How much is an air kit? Would want one with the presets really (like bagyard) but have no knowledge of air at all really :ashamed:

All ive done to date is coilovers and a half assed drop for practicality! (and got a puncture) so I think wheels will be on the cards if I can find something cheap and cheerful for the time being, then in 6 months maybe crack on properly. Driving around 500 miles a week at the moment, so stonechips are a problem, along with service/diesel bills and being 19 im paying ridiculous insurance still! All adds up and doesnt give me much to spend on the car after going out etc.. lol
