this is good lots of positive comments about k04ing  need more power now everything else is sorted on it ha ha.

Given that you've smoothed out the in-let manifold (and in the process removed a lot of structural bracing and reinforcement) I'd be very careful upping things like boost pressure. Although the in-let looks very nice now, it's also significantly weaker than it was before as by removing material you'll have introduced numerous localised weaknesses.

I've seen a couple of plastic in-lets explode before and that was with factory boost levels and OEM parts. Some MKII RS's have been plagued by this problem. So upgrading your turbo and significantly increasing boost, through a 'cosmetically' modified in-let manifold, could be asking for trouble.

Just my 2p. Keep up the good work! I'm not into the scene at all, but I admire your hard work, the attention to detail and the sheer quality of your work.

thanks for the heads up mate i appreciate it and this is what the forum is about to learn and bounce ideas off each other.

 I have the inlet situation in hand admittadly not because of the reason you stated but because it looks well cool and a friend across the pond is just doing the final tests on a billet one.
I want to run it over here in the UK but also want someone else to run one as part of a deal to give an honest unbiased reveiw on the product.
