Ahh cool thanks for the info mate, i'll see what happens when they get fitted and tell you the solution that he sorted for me.

....Glad to help

Greenouse also needs to know if anything can be done beyond the stage I've got mine to. So it'll be good to know what you find out later.

I thought there was a resistor you could wire in to fool the car thinking airbags were present ?

....Yes, but if it blows, I've heard you would probably need to replace the whole loom (mega bucks). Still, I don't know this for sure.

Cheers dude i totally understand that when building a car you can't please everyone and i totally understand that as long as the quality isnt questioned thats my main concern, i take it your a performance man?

Hopefully in the next wee or so there should be some bits right down your street hopefully :happy2:

....Your quality is clearly beyond question.

Yes, I'm more of a performance man but not to the max - I like driveability.

One of the many great things about this forum community is that everybody respects each others' different approaches and we still do all we can to help each other (and take the piss with lots of banter).

:happy2: 8) :happy2:

I love stuff like this though : -

WESTWOOD'S DAD: "Son, you're a white boy from the affluent South of England. You are not, and never have been or will be, a "gangsta". I worked hard as a vicar so you could live in a nice house growing up.. so stop pretending you know anything about "the ghetto", being poor, guns, or "the street". Now eat your peas before Mrs Badcrumble gets here - and make your old mum a cup of tea. Good lad."

No it's a great forum and i appreciate peoples comments good or bad, i totally agree i try to build a kind of a showy drivers car the mini was 230-240bhp (never had it on the rollers) so it had a little bit of poke to have some fun, Same with the golf really comfort inside great hifi and then good stoppers and a bit of performance, granted the airbags may hold me back a bit on the performance  but after doing a fair bit of research all the american boys rekon there as good as some  coilovers  if you buy a decent setup which i will.

plus i get some great stance at shows with air (well in theory ha ha its not fitted yet)
