best place for clutch

hi my clutch is started to slip in 4th 5th and 6th gear since iv had my car mapped. it doesnt do it all the time though. it doesnt judder the revs just clime really fast and i dnt go anywhere then they slowly come back down again and im off. the car is a gti with stg2+ on k03. is it ok to just put another oem one back in and where the best place to get one from. im on a tight budget.

group buy is finished now. sachs are good clutches but slightly pricey. anyone do one abit cheaper. and im only running bout 270bhp. so not massive power.

what he said ^^^^. Sachs from group buy would be the cheapest option as you can use DMF you already have. However there were some issues with Sachs clutches as you find out while browsing on the forum. Alternative is Helix or South Bend.

I could recommend South Bend stage 2 daily with SMF. SMF is more reliable than OEM DMF and due to reduction to mass car revvs quicker. I got mine from the States much cheaper then here. This set is priced at 900 USD with SMF plus postage and any taxes on top etc

I could recommend Jeff from USP motorsports. He's great to deal with and answers quickly to mails

Try this one, I don't think the one your looking at will deal with the extra hp on your car. May as well go for the higher price one and forget about 'slip'.
