I've also bought a WALK from Bendy, and am hoping to ge this fitted before my driving holiday/romantic-weekend-with-the-Mrs to North Devon next week.

....With the Exmoor road numbers I'm gonna PM you, I hope she doesn't suffer from car sickness!

You are definitely now on the slippery slope of modding!

:signLOL: Great picture Robin! It certainly is a hell of a lot of fun, and much more enjoyable now I've been to a couple of meets and met some like-mided people.  :happy2:

Nice car BTW. I have shadow blue. Best colour IMHO

Absolutely, looks amazing in sunlight, and very different but equally good under lights in the dark. I love the colour.  :happy2:

Ha ha, more money spent! Got the WALK fitted today and had the 4 wheel laser alignment. Bushes on the other side of the wishbone were fine though so that was a bonus. However, her indoors had a bit of a moan-up about me spending money on mods, so I may have to go into stealth mode!

Already I notice more communication through the wheel, and I was able to get away better in the wet with far less wheel-hop and spin. Looking forward to a dry day so I can really test it out.

So updated plan is:

Done

PDT Stage 1 remap
DV Rev D
Change Cam Follower
Pipercross panel filter
Rear arch rust
Pirelli P Zero Rosso Assymetrics all round
WALK

To Do

Brake upgrade (NQSBBK, if this fits under Monza 2's)
Get Mrs (The Kerbinator) in Econo-box
Repair door strips from parking ding damage
A1 Wheel refurb with Aston Martin Lacquer, and gloss black inserts
Colour code bumpers and skirts
Gloss black mirrors and front splitter, and centre of rear bumper, )
New driver's seat cover and foam bolster
RNS 510 Audio / SatNav
Professional detail for bodywork

'The Kerbinator' - I like that title but am glad I don't have one under my roof!  :happy2:

Are you sure a set of lowering springs shouldn't go on that list Ian

My shadow blue looks spot on lowered over a set of monza shadows. Food for thought. . . .

Thanks Gray, I think!  :signLOL:

I know what's gonna happen, it'll end up Stage 2 plus with KW's, it's almost a given!

I think there is something wrong with me. I've had Duncans of Byfleet (VAG specialists) assess my discs and pads and front suspension again after a mis-understanding of needing new shocks and springs (my fault). I was actually really dissapointed when they told me that all are fine for quite some time! The only thing I need is new front ARB drop links, which are being fitted on Saturday.

However, I've added the Bilstein B8 kit with the pro springs to my future build plans. There's no way The Kerbinator will let me upgrade unless they're faulty. C'mon potholes, help me out here!

.... :signLOL: I know exactly what you mean!

But you've come to the right place for help. It's the forum where you can be easily persuaded to spend money on replacing goods which worked perfectly well in the first place. I was really pleased when I learned my KoniFSD's were failing.

But as suspension is all nicely hidden away, would The Kerbinator actually know you had changed the suspension?

Her (Kerbinators are usually female):  "Darling, why is the car lower?"

You: "Oh, is it? Let me have a look....  Oh yes, car suspensions always settle lower through time. Don't worry, it'll feel better and safer to drive".

Just don't put a Bilstein sticker in your back window!

I have absolutely no complaints about my KW V3's but I would go Bilstein if there was another time.

Ha Ha, excellent Robin!  :signLOL:

I might have to dig out the secret emergency credit card!

I do want to get the brakes done at the same time though, and I'm still not sure about which way I'm going to go on this, either NQSBBK or just uprated discs and pads.
