MFSW Telephone Button with 5K0 035 730D Bluetooth Module

I've just today fitted a 5K0 035 730D BT module to the ED30. It's working a treat apart from the telephone button on the MFSW.

5K0 is a MK6 GTi/GTD part so I had hoped that this would work. Will it be a coding issue?

EDIT: Forgot to mention this 5K0 module is the same as 7P6 035 730F.

Appears to be working fine with an iPhone 3GS on iOS5. Had the phonebook up and got tracks playing over A2DP.

Do you have it running with the RNS510?
Again I'm not sure, but I seem to think that all the telephone button did on my last kit was to mute the radio or end a call???
Darren (MortyGtdi) will be able to give u advice, but sometimes he isnt on till late.

I've just won the Skoda Premium kit 1Z0 035 729B  Brand new on eBay for £118  Saved £200 

So now I'm selling my old Premium kit 5N0 035 730B. It works with loads of phones but not the iPhone 

(thinking about it I've got loads of things to sell, when I can be Rsed)

Yes, the star just mute's whatever is playing.

I've tested the module with an iPhone 4S and also works. So confirmed it works with iPhone's! Doesnt display on MFD tho.

For info, I got the kit from this guy on eBay. He was very helpful.

Not sure what model number my Skoda kit is (installed it about 5 years ago), but the telephone button doesn't do anything. I accept or end a call via the RCD510 or the arrow and OK buttons on the MFSW.

David if your star button mutes the headunit you could try coding the steering wheel to voice control, has for the phone button all I can think is the BT module needs coding, not sure what the coding is like on the 7P6/5K0 unit but if its the same has the 3C8/5N0 then its self explanatory.

By the way David what functions do you get with that unit?? any info at all in the red highline? probably wishful thinking...

Did you resolve this? I have the same issue but star button doesn't even mute.
Just trying to figure out the coding.
