Your right, I'm 27 and don't know what a BFH is.

If any other Shadow Blue owners are interested, here's my members ride thread:

For my exterior mods I'm considering a gloss black theme for the bodywork trim, with a gloss black front splitter, and gloss black mirrors in a nod to the gloss black grille surround. I've even contemplated the rear spoiler in gloss black.

For my alloys, I've given up on the diamond cut finish for the Monzas, as even the best attempts at refurb (A1 & Lepsons) seem to result in a return to the dreaded whiteworm sooner rather than later. So I'm going to shamelessly copy Red Roin and go down the Smoked Chrome route (powdercoated).

I'd be interested to hear what you think.

Gloss black mirrors would look ok. I think the exterior trims might not though. Just my opinion. I was going to say just get the centre section of your splitter done but not sure what the GTI one looks like compared to the ED30 one.

Saying that though, its your car and you should do what you like to it  :happy2:

If you do decide to get the trims done etc, you could get them wrapped. Atleast if you don't like them you won't have to fork out getting parts repainted again.

Looking forward to seeing your monzas in smoked chrome at the JKM day (if you have them done by then?). My white worm hasn't got any worse and is hardly noticeable but powder coating sounds like the way forward. . .

I'm not sure which supplier to go for yet to do the smoked chrome. I think RR got his done at A1 in Wolverhampton, but that's a bit of a trek for me. I also need a drive in, drive out service as I've only 1 set of 'loys.  :ashamed:

Richn83 and I are going to look at the sample wheel at Wicked Wheels in Guildford.
