Hello,

I'm a new member to this forum, Just purchased a 05 plate Mkv ((TDI) I hope this is allowed on a GTI forum!).

I'm very happy with the car as have been after one for a while, Its actually for the Missus but as usual i'll be doing all the mainainence/upgrades.

There are a few niggly bits that id like to change soonish and hopefully you guys will be able to advise me if I get shtuck!

Welcome mate, you've joined the best forum, it's for all who love the Mk5 GTi, not just those who own one.

You've got some cracking roads near you, I often take a drive down to Petersfield and take the A272 through Midhurst and onwards towards the coast. Brilliant road!

Im forever on the A285 and some of that road is amazing!, have to watch out for the odd manic biker though! (and plod!)
