Smooth grill no numberplate

Im looking to remove the number plate holder from the front grill and have a smooth look.
You can buy gti grills on eBay but I have a gt and don't wish to change all my grills or create a replica gti,
Does anyone know if they come apart so I can just use the gloss black surround with my gt grill or is it better to try and find a second hand grill and will my gt grill fit
Any suggestions would be great

They don't come apart, your best option is to wrap it.

Cheers mate, il have to get a second hand one to mess about with I think. Was thinking bout wrapping as mine is already wrapped ATM
