but bud you got the comfort of buttons, and If im not mistaken a 19" wheel tucked in your arch will look awesome

^^^^ those 20" just look plain daft. 19" always look good IMO, if your car is lowered (even just 20mm) they seem to fill the arch perfectly all the way round although not a consideration for Al by the look of his slammed beauty. Very nice indeed sir!!

....It certainly is personal preference but with my designer's hat on, 20's look grossly oversize for the Mk5 body.

It all depends on the style when it comes to wheel sizes. Dished wheels will always look smaller than a mono block style wheel. For CHs I'd go 19's. The black mk5 on the multi spokes looks lovely!
