DSg Service book question
« on: May 21, 2012, 10:16:34 pm »
I had my car (A DSG Edition 30) in for it's first DSG Service today at 37,600 miles.

I never thought to ask at the time but when I got home I checked the service book (which was in the glovebox) and they haven't stamped/marked the book for this service.

Should the DSG service, which is essentially just oil/filter for the DSG transmission, get a stamp in the book?

My dealer stamped and wrote dsg service on a section at the back of the log book.

Def take it back and get it stamped.

Mine is stamped on the service page, with DSG box ticked, also have the invoice. The back of the book has two stamps, for the cambelt & pump, under warranty. And another stamp for the air con compressor, also under warranty.
