REMAP remap or REMAP
« on: May 26, 2012, 12:34:37 am »
Hi i have just recently got my MK5 golf gti and have been doing some research into the best Remap to put onto it...

There seems to be so many out there and i'd like to hear from people that have already got them fitted. I live near norwich and have a local Tunner Clive Attowe who i know does the Revo remap which seem good but i didn't want to just by that without hearing about other. Any help would be appriciated.

Welcome along.

We will all be (generally) fan boys of the maps we have. REVO, APR, Bluefin etc. As above, go have a look through the Search Button. Also a LARGE section solely on performance maps and discussions.

Cheers guys i'm thinking about getting the trial revo map on but keep reading stories that when they revert it's worse than the original map...!!
I'm guessing alot of it is just the sudden drop makes it feel slower but am a bit hesitant about it.

Revo software will revert to a stock version of revo after the trial ends, to dispell the myths that other tuners tell about it returning to a 'slower than stock map' to make the Revo software seem better I dyno tested a few cars once the trial had ended and they made pretty much stock numbers.

Find a local independant specialist or Revo dealer and you wont go far wrong.
