« on: May 23, 2012, 06:29:12 pm »
Well the time has come to ditch the old specs and get some new prescription sunglasses.

Thinking some ray ban aviators personally though fear the Goose comparisons

I have aviators with a mirror lense

Bought them in Ibiza in 2009 after the cheap glasses I got from the local shops started melting with the heat.

They are still perfect and kept in my car for sunny days

.
I've got prescription vario-focal and polarized Oakleys:

They're limited edition grey and red frames. can't find a pic right now but will post one later.

Being vario-focal it takes care of sharp focus on both the car's instrument displays and the road ahead.

Although lightly mirrored they let in a lot of light and colouration remains very natural. I've had Bolle and liked them but the Oakleys are my best so far.

I used to wear Ray-Ban Aviators but had an accident on my bike and the metal frame just missed my eye. So it was plastics from then on. Classic shape though and a nice big lens.

I LOVE the Aviator glasses  :happy2: Unfortunately I'd look sexier in those joke glasses.  :sad1:

Ive tried loads of aviator style glasses…. ray ban, police, boss etc. They just don't suit me.  :booty:

I think they are to rounded for me.

These are my Lacoste gigs…..

Thought Oakley polorized was just an expensive gimmick until I bought a pair. Awesome glasses and won't buy anything else

....Oh no! Oakley know exactly what they are doing and their technology is world leading  :notworthy: It's not just the 'brand label' which makes them expensive.
