Hi all, had my black Pirelli for a couple of months now, loving it! Bought her to replace my M3 which i've owned for 4 1/2 years which I really need to get round to selling lol!
So far I've added GTi seat inserts on the handles, a GTi footrest, Pirelli logo on the dash strip a la edition 30 and a couple of forum stickers  :happy2:

Tomorrow i'm replacing the ditch finder tyres with Pirelli's and next week she's getting exhaust, remap and induction fitted

Worse...... Durun's..... lethal in the wet! Dealers will put anything on to save a couple of quid! Can't wait to finally feel what she's supposed to handle like!

How do you find it compared to the M3?. Like the look of the Pirelli from the outside but can't get my head round the seats & yellow stitching.Sorry.
ED35. Standard factory condition.

Compared to the M3 the Golf doesn't feel as special, handle as we'll or sound as good.....but does 95% of what the M&A does for half the running costs! Has that same feel of fantastic everyday usability but a blast when the situation occurs......plus on todays roads the Golf is just as fast but has more usable power! The M3 is the longest I've kept a car and I'm sure the Golf will stay with me just as long! Been from 1994 Renault 19 16v to 95 Corrado VR6, 02 Civic Type R, Celica GT4, FTO GPX, BMW 328i sport and then the M3 and a couple of cars not worth mentioning LOL

Looking good, although I would say that! It will feel a whole lot different once you have got it mapped and the exhaust on! :happy2:
