Welshman Adam's Edition 30
« on: September 18, 2012, 10:11:11 pm »
Hi all,

Figured after a month of ownership I'd start my members rides thread to add to as the months go by!

So far, I've done the following:

LED sidelights, number plate lights and puddle lights

SuperPro Anti-lift kit (with Hunter wheel alignment) - very impressed with the difference this made to the steering feel and handling

Mintex rear pads (maintenance requirement rather than a deliberate mod)

Pressed metal number plates

Next up:

Full service with brake fluid change

Front discs and pads - recommendations welcome here, was thinking grooved discs...

The car came with a high spec including Lux pack, Winter pack, MFD2 sat nav, tints, iPod connectivity, MFSW and Parrot bluetooth. One owner from new and full VW history. Manual box.

A few pics of how she is now:

At AMD Essex before having the brake pads and anti lift fitted:

Cheers.

I'm from Port Talbot, but living in the Dartford area now.  Do pop back to see family every few months though.

Will have a look at those R32 stoppers.

Cheers all.

We're bonding well.  The recent wet weather is making me appreciate having a more modern car - I was driving a 96 Polo prior to the Golf.
