I have to admit cruise is something I really want on the GTi I buy. What's great to hear is how easily it can be retro fitted.

Quick update, I've found the one and will be picking it up on Wednesday!  :laugh:

Black ED30 5-door. More details and pics to follow.

Needless to say I can't wait for Wednesday now, like a kid waiting for Xmas!!  :jumping:

So I've got it!

What can I say?? It's amazing. The pull in any gear is so impressive and addictive. Spec is:

Lux pack
Winter pack
Convenience pack
Rear tints

Highline computer
iPod connection
Sat Nav

She's a six speed manual in black, 5-door on a 57 plate.

I'm so pleased with it.  RAC inspected it this morning (private purchase so wanted to be sure) and aside from a few minor bodywork chips/scratches there was nothing to report.

It came with an impeccable history. All service receipts (in chronological order), original Sutherby's cleaning kit, remainder of VW breakdown cover - until Oct 2013. 

Pics up at the weekend - after today's weather she needs cleaning already...
