MFD gone abit wrong !!
« on: May 25, 2012, 10:43:24 pm »
Ive just got home now, and whilst i was sitting in the car i decided to play around with the footwell lighting brightness. i set it to its minimum, then went out of the menu and switched the ignition off to activate the footwell lights.

i then went back onto the menu and now the lighting menu has vanished, and i also now have an option to turn off the display which im pretty sure wasnt there before. and to top it off, when i turn the ignition off and remove the key the lights now no longer come on until i open the door !!

wtf have i done !!

I know this is old but did you find an answer cos I've just been doing the same thing and my lights option has gone from the menu as well.

Check your cecm and make sure all the plugs are in properly if you have recently taken them apart.

What's cecm?
And I unplugged the front door from the loom to stop the door locking,  but I played with the footwell lights on the menu hours later, so that shouldn't affect it surely?
