What is this?? [solved]

This has been in in the glovebox of my car since I bought it and I've been meaning to ask what it is for ages now. Got no idea what it is for and all google brings up is that its a cap that costs a few dollars.

Part No: 1k0 863 359 roughly an inch x half inch

If you look right into the footwell on the passenger side its the cap that covers a torx screw that holds the trim

Just been out and it is and fits perfect, theres one in drivers side aswell and that was there.

It's only been bugging me as to what it was for the last 20 months  :signLOL:
