Seat belt alarm issue...anyone help
« on: May 28, 2012, 09:13:59 am »
For some reason, when I have a passenger in the front, I intermittently get the fasten your seltbelt alarm go off and it's driving me nuts!!!! .

I've looked on Vcds to see if I can find the controller but can't see where it would be, also where should I be looking where this plugs into the Seat if it's a loose connection??.

I know the wife has lost 4 stone recently , but it's not enough I'm sure to think she's that light lol

Thankyou  :drinking:

You have to manually enter the +2 for seatbelt chime in "instruments and then coding"

You'll understand what i mean when your in VCDS.

Yes, both seat belts fastened, just like your driving along and decide to unplug it .. Bing ..bing ...bing ...bing bing ...bing lol

It's annoying as hell!! Only does it for about. 3 or 4 seconds and stops. Normally have to ask the passenger to move in the seat to stop it?

So what ever your first 2 number are, 07 for example. -02.... so 07 becomes 05. Or 23 becomes 21.

I think your first coding is correct if you look at where the ?? are in the long coding helper.

Are you looking in the right place? It should only be 5 digits
