Dyno Prep
« on: May 28, 2012, 07:00:02 pm »
Ok - a few of you have advised me to have a dyno test to see what my newly acquired Mk5 is producing.

Can someone tell me if I need to do an oil change etc before a test? I read somewhere that rolling roads are very hard on cars??

Any advice appreciated thanks.

All I do before I go JKM is make sure all the levels are fine, no leaks, tyres are at correct PSI, etc. Then on the day make sure the engine is at operating temperature just before your run by either running the engine or going for a quick drive  :happy2:

Exactly as Nodz says.

You don't need an oil change. Make sure you have plenty of high octane fuel (not 95 RON) in the tank.
