Would like to fit the larger 5L bottle in place of the 3 or 3.5L bottle I have at the moment.
Is there enough space to fit the larger bottle
Is there a kind person who has the part number for the larger size pleeeese

Yes it is a direct swap.

Try 1K0955453S fot the 5.5L reservoir.

If you don't have headlamp washers, you may need to buy a plastic plug and rubber washer.
When I bought the larger bottle when retrofitting headlamp washers, the headlamp washer pump hole was pre-drilled. You'll possibly need to plug it then.

431955465A - seal, can't remember PN for the plug - it is 22 & 26 on the diagram when you order.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

I recall my old reservoir having a few part number's that didn't correlate to a 5.5L one, to look at both the 3.6L and 5.5L look the same from the front, but the back end is deeper on the bigger bottle.

So if you're buying outwith the dealer then try get a picture.

No probs.

Are you also fitting the low level sensor? This was part of the Kufatec lamp washer loom but can be put in seperately I believe.
Eddie-nl would be the man who could possibly make a loom for you.

Sorry mate going off on a tangent.

Kufatec are a German firm who make retrofit looms, so if you know you are putting in headlamp washers or just the sensor warning then you may as well get the sensor/loom etc and do it all in one go.

If you just want a bigger tank then ignore me!
It's this site you see, get an idea and watch it grow.
