Temp Gauge
« on: May 30, 2012, 10:11:50 pm »
When driving my temp gauge occassional drops to 0 - few seconds later its back to normal.

Any ideas? have I got a serious leak/engine issue?

Temp gauge sensor. Try wiggling the connection and see if that sorts it. If not you'll need a new sensor, think they're about 25 squid.

I always thought it wouldn't matter to leave it broken, but someone said it can confuse the ecu for something. Can't remember what though, sorry. Best get it sorted.

Or could be a sticky thermostat.
